Hobson Prior is seeking a Senior Clinical Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of clinical trial operations and the team assigned to the trial. The role involves ensuring the delivery of operational outputs in line with trial timelines and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to project planning and trial plans, focusing on operational performance and quality.
• Report on all operational aspects of the trial.
• Lead operational planning and trial-related activities in collaboration with other functions.
• Supervise the operations team, providing clear instructions and setting priorities.
• Oversee the selection and management of external service providers and clinical research organisations.
• Manage clinical trial supplies, including forecasting, ordering, and distribution.
• Ensure trial-specific training is provided to the assigned operations team.
• Participate in investigator meeting preparations and presentations.
• Support business units in internal audit preparations and during audits.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in life sciences or healthcare.
• Experience in managing operational aspects of complex clinical trials and global teams.
• Past history of leading global cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge on selecting and managing external service providers.
• Familiarity with electronic data capture, electronic trial master file, and clinical trial management systems.
• Excellent knowledge of ICH-GCP.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
