Senior BD and Pharma Partnership Manager

Hobson Prior are looking for a Senior BD and Pharma Partnership Manager to join a fantastic biotech organisation on a permanent basis. Our client is focused on assisting with delivery of research across all phases of the clinical development pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will collaborate with the head of pharma partnerships to drive the relationship forming procedure at various levels between the company and partners, which involves those at senior and executive levels.
• The ideal candidate will meet or exceed revenue targets by efficiently contributing to handling the BD pipeline, recognising account development prospects and closing deals.
• Uphold a record of contracts, prospects and results of conversations, populate the BD pipeline and assist with BD reporting.
• Produce revenue through developing tactical partnerships with both large pharmaceutical and biotech organisations.
• Work alongside the internal teams to develop compelling submissions and presentations to secure new business prospects as well as distribute high-quality solutions to clients.
• Supervise and analyse market trends and competitor actions to filter business development methods and drive constant improvement.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in a relevant field, though an advanced degree would be ideal.
• A high level of business development which involves forming and converting a pipeline of prospects for both standalone projects and long-term partnerships.
• Comprehension of real-world evidence, which involves implementation across the drug development pathway and regulatory considerations.
• Know-how of the pharmaceutical and healthcare organisation which involves market dynamics and industry trends.
• Capable of forming relationships with various people in and out of the organisation.
• Knowledge of one or more core therapeutic areas, such as oncology, immunology, neurology, cardiovascular, or respiratory.
• Willing to travel for business needs.
