Hobson Prior are seeking for a Senior Automation Engineer to join a fantastic CRO on a contract basis with the ability to work remotely from anywhere in Europe. Our client is focused on aiding pharmaceutical organisations bring products to market.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will exchange with process experts and colleagues with knowledge in surrounding systems and equipment with MES, Historian systems, Instruments, Production Equipment etc.
• Provide advice to customers on their selection of automation solutions.
• Evolve and optimise automation methods and tactics to meet our client's difficulties and sharing ground-breaking knowledge with colleagues and associates.
• Establish the basis of automation methods and architectures to assist sister divisions and grow the company's fill finish automation engagement.
• The ideal candidate will design, evolve execute, qualify and assist automation solutions such as SCADA/PLC.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Fluency in the English language.
• Able to spend the first 2 weeks in Denmark for training.
• At least 5+ years of relevant work experience as well as educated to a degree level in an engineering discipline, preferably electrical, automation, or process.
• At least 5+ years of experience with SCADA/PLC application development such as ignition, iFIX, and Siemens, as well as working within a GMP/GAMP setting or with implementation of automation projects.
• Know-how of industry 4.0 technologies as well as cloud solutions.
