Scientist - Cellular Assay Development

Hobson Prior are seeking for a Scientist - Cellular Assay Development to join a fantastic pharmaceutical establishment on a contract basis. Our client is focused on distributing life-hanging remedies.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will distribute bespoke mechanistic packages to characterise chemical equity.
• Distribute miniaturised cell assays and characterising pathways.
• Handle target activity readouts to make an input on practical distribution of oncology projects rendering to the company's regulations.
• Cooperate and converse with crucial internal shareholders to guarantee solutions are in line with the company's method and shareholder needs.
• Any other assigned duties.

• Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Able to resolve issues.

Requirements:

• Educated to an advanced degree level in a biology, molecular biology or similar field.
• Familiarity with developing cell-based assays using one or more of the following: fluorescence, luminescence, reporter gene systems and cellular imaging.
• Knowledge on bespoke cell-based experiments which involves transient transfection and western blot analysis.
• Know-how of data analysis and comprehension.
• Comprehension of cellular protein degradation pathways and of the input of cellular assays to drug discovery.
• A background in cancer cell biology.
• Acquaintance with miniaturising cell assays to 96, 384 well format.
