Scientific Communications Director (remote-based)

Hobson Prior are currently seeking for a Scientific Communications Director to join a brilliant pharmaceutical organisation on a contract basis with the ability to work remotely from anywhere within the UK. Our client is focused on producing tests and treatments that alter the lives of many.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will cooperate with group comms, digital brilliance and any other co-workers operating within the social media field.
• To leverage synergies and maximise value, you will evolve a feedback loop combining business priorities and social actions.
• Collaborate with group comms and compliance to guarantee procedures, regulations and best practices are updated internationally, nationally and locally.
• Influence current research and recognise knowledge gaps to assist in outlining baselines, benchmarks and best practices for broader social media execution.
• Interact with disease area leaders and industry groups which involves EFPIA on collaborations and prospects.
• The ideal candidate will consult with any other business teams on how to combine social media into current communications methods.
• Be oriented on value-added actions and alliances.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• At least 5+ years of pertinent experience within a social media management role.
• Demonstrated ability to interact through organic and paid social media actions.
• Comprehension of benchmarking, KIPs, and measurement of social media campaigns.
• Know-how of all major social media platforms such ad Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, etc.
• Prior involvement and capability of guiding and motivating agency management associates.
• Fluency in the English language.
• Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
