Hobson Prior are looking for an SAS Programmer to join a brilliant CRO on a permanent basis with the ability to work remotely from anywhere in Europe with ¼ on-site travel to Madrid. Our client is focused on assisting their clients in acknowledging both present and future requirements.
Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.
Key Responsibilities:
- For this role, you will guide and supervise the development of international tools that will increase the productivity and capability of the statistical programming team.
- The ideal candidate will work alongside other biometrics personnel concerning data analysis requests.
- Collaborate with the clinical study teams to plan and implement actions to guarantee project timelines are met with high quality deliverables.
- Assist with the evaluation of linked deliverables when offered by CROs.
- You will cooperate with the study teams to guarantee the quality and precision - thus a prompt proposal - of clinical data as needed by authorities, such as SDTM, ADaM, tables, figures, listings, define.xml, etc.
- Any other assigned duties.

- Able to resolve issues and demonstrate programming skills.
- Works well both independently and in a team.
- Capable of meeting set objectives and managing own time efficiently.
Requirements:
- Educated to a degree level in a computer science, mathematics, statistics, or similar discipline with pertinent work experience.
- Any other degrees and/or qualifications/certifications will be taken into consideration.
- Comprehension of clinical programming and/or statistical programming procedures and standards.
- Comprehension of regulatory needs pertinent to statistical programming such as GCP, ICH, etc.
- Past involvement in statistical programming using SAS software which involves development and the use of SAS Macros.
- Expertise in CDISC standards such as CDASH, ADTM, ADaM etc.
- Acquaintance with guiding programming actions for both pooled and exploratory analysis across various clinical studies and proposal actions.
- Familiarity working in a cross-functional, multicultural, and global clinical trial team.
