Hobson Prior are looking for a Research Scientist (Mouse Embryo Manipulation) to join a brilliant pharmaceutical establishment on a contract basis located Gothenburg. Our client is focused on producing healthier communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this position, you will assist with tasks which involves labelling and planning culture dishes, handling lab supplies, sustaining lab equipment, and regular cleaning.
• Manage blastocysts injection of mouse embryonic stem cells.
• Plan pseudo pregnant females for surgery, conduct Embryo Transfer surgeries, offer post-operative care to embryo recipients, and wash embryos by mouth pipette.
• You will handle micro manipulation of mouse Zygotes by Pro -nuclear injection.
• Adhere to SOP, policies, and protocols.
• Upkeep the work setting by cleaning, organising and providing for the workspace and areas within the division. Adheres to SOP, policies and procedures.
• The ideal candidate will converse with other in a proactive, encouraging, and professional fashion.
• Handle mouse embryonic stem cell transfection and clone picking.
• Any other assigned duties.

• Communication skills both verbally and in writing.

Requirements:

• Acquaintance with micro manipulation practices, for example: pro-nuclear injection, Blastocyst injection and implantation surgery in mice.
• Computer literacy in Outlook, Word, Excel, electronic lab book, etc.
