Hobson Prior are currently looking for a Research Associate Position - Antibody Discovery to join a brilliant biotech organisation on a contract basis located in Slough. Our client is focused on improving the lives of many suffering from various illnesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role you will drive the novel antibody projects forward from the lab.
• Assist with immunisation-based antibody findings in a team setting.
• Conduct antibody binding assays using flow cytometry and ELISA.
• You will carry out mammalians cell transfection and cell culture.
• Produce mRNA-LNP as reagent for immunisation.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in a biochemistry, molecular biology, or similar biological science field with a solid academic record and lab experience.
• Acquaintance with some of the following practices would be beneficial for the role: Mammalian cell culture, preparation of cell suspensions from mammalian tissues, Flow cytometry, ELISA, cell imaging, RT-PCR, cloning and working with mRNA.
