Real-World Evidence (RWE) Practice Lead

Hobson Prior are looking for a Real-World Evidence (RWE) Practice Lead to join a fantastic full-service agency on a permanent basis located in London. Our client is focused on delivering Market Research Strategies for Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Positioning the company within the RWE space, identifying key segments in both the commercial and medical/clinical use of Real-World Data (RWD) and RWE.
• Developing and winning new accounts for the organisation via multiple sources at both an international and country domestic level.
• Initially hands-on management, guiding and supporting the existing research team in delivering the existing major RWE projects and the new business the practice lead will generate
• Setting and meeting budgets, scaling the RWE resources and capabilities as the business builds
• Strategic and operational development, with the support of the Client Service Directors (CSDs), of the company's RWE practice
• Lead generation aligned with the company's vision up to and including the initial RFP plus supporting the CSD's RWE business development activities, to be the primary business development point of contact for RWE business.
• Owning pitch' process when a new RWE business lead turns into an RFP, including all communications, questions, slide preparation and delivery of the RFP response, whilst the assigned client team are responsible for the unique content of the company.
• Work closely and have excellent communication with the other business development leads in the leadership team to ensure all activity is aligned with the company's growth strategy and values.
• Lead the procurement relationships with new RWE clients to get on Preferred Supplier Lists, prepare Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and other client validation processes as needed to enable RWE business with the company's target clients.
• Utilise internal CRM system for efficient tracking of new leads, meetings, updating key fields, etc., logging all call activity, email correspondence, quote development, client prospecting activities.
• Participate in and contribute to the leadership team meetings.
• Effectively work with the Research Delivery teams, Support teams and other third parties to ensure the highest quality of deliverables
• Liaise with the Senior Research Director, the Head of Advanced Analytics and the clients throughout the project
• Train and support Research Directors and Research Managers on the RWE market, methodologies and key deliverables
• Give input into protocols development and other specific frameworks, including research methodology, study design and relevant research tools, analyses and deliverables that address the client needs.

Requirements:

• A Life Science Bachelor's Degree and extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Knowledge from pharmaceutical industry/company environment, preferably in a world-wide leadership capacity.
• Experience of and proven track record in the RWD and RWE area grounded on a detailed knowledge and understanding of the healthcare / pharmaceutical industry, trends and processes, strong focus on RWE.
