Quality Assurance Specialist

Hobson Prior are currently seeking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join a brilliant biotech organisation on a permanent basis. Our client is focused on changing the lives and health of people through pioneering medical treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will perform evaluations of artwork and label procedure for manufactured products.
• Contribute to the internal audit programme as well as guarantee accomplishment of audits in a timely manner.
• Support management of the SVMP to guarantee adherence to the timetable and divisional goals.
• To warrant compliance with GXP and support the disposition of completed product by qualified persons, you will evaluate, check and sanction accomplished batch and ancillary quality documentation.
• Mediate with external contractors and third-party service suppliers rendering the evaluation and sanction of quality documentation.
• Plan any necessary corrective and preventive activities linked to the release of finished product.
• Assist supplier qualification, evaluate and management processes as required and uphold the approved supplier list (ASL).
• Any other assigned duties.

• Capable of working in cooperation with staff in site functional teams and/or any other sites and clients.

Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in a scientific field, for example: chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, pharmacy or life sciences.
• A degree supported by a suitable quality position in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device organisation.
• Know-how of quality management systems and pertinent standards such as GMP, ISO, ICH, CFR, etc., in a medical device and/or pharmaceutical organisation.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
