Hobson Prior is seeking a Qualification and Validation Engineer to join a pharmaceutical project in Geel, Belgium. In this role, you will focus on ensuring that small-scale equipment and related software meet regulatory and quality standards. This is a hands-on position requiring a proactive approach to validation processes and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Responsibilities:

• Develop and carry out activities such as user requirements, system impact assessments, and qualification protocols (e.g., DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ).
• Perform validation studies for critical systems to ensure they meet GMP and regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve validation issues effectively.
• Ensure all systems remain compliant with GMP standards throughout their lifecycle.
• Support projects by adhering to required regulatory and quality standards.
• Stay updated on emerging validation regulations and practices.
• Prepare and manage validation documentation, ensuring proper approval and implementation.
• Assess changes to determine their impact on qualified systems and update validation documentation as needed.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Knowledge of GMP requirements in a regulated environment.
• Understanding of quality and compliance regulations.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve validation challenges.
• Familiarity with quality management systems.
• Experience working with small-scale equipment and related software in a healthcare manufacturing setting.
