Hobson Prior are currently seeking for a QC Laboratory Supervisor (Evening Shifts) to join a brilliant pharmaceutical organisation on a permanent basis. Our client is focused on manufacturing products for both medical and veterinary use.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • For this role, you will handle a team and implement technical knowledge in assisting with analytical testing on finished product and raw resources using the correct processes to comply with cGMP, health and safety, SOP's and environmental and regulatory needs while guaranteeing that we meet the customer's requirements.
  • Handle a team of quality analysts and assure that all testing is performed rendering to present EU and pharmacopeial needs.
  • Responsible for planning, scheduling and arranging analysis testing in the team.
  • Guarantee the heist of standards concerning data integrity and compliance with present regulations.
  • Accomplish necessary testing schedules by allocating and guaranteeing that both team and individual KPI's are met, allowing the release of raw materials for use in manufacturing in a timely manner.
  • Assure evaluation and approval of lab results, protocols and reports for completed product and stability in a timely manner.
  • Offer technical direction in the event of equipment failure, calibration failure, out of specification outcomes and any other suitable concerns.
  • You will ensure all laboratory equipment is maintained and calibrated.
  • Conduct detailed root cause investigations into out of specification outcomes or any analytical errors that occur in the lab.
  • Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

  • Prior involvement in people management in a pharmaceutical setting.
  • Technical abilities of most common analytical techniques and pertinent software.
  • Solid attitude to the ALCOA+ needs.
  • Capable of forming relationships and working well with others.
  • Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Abel to think analytically as well as resolve issues.
  • A flexible individual with a keenness to learn and develop technical capabilities.
