Hobson Prior are seeking a QC Analyst/Senior QC Analyst to join a fantastic biotech establishment on a permanent basis located in Abingdon. Our client is focused on revolutionising cancer solutions with remedies.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will be responsible for supporting internal and regulatory agency reviews / check-ups.
• Uphold numerous cell lines by revitalisation and passaging at set intervals consistently.
• When needed, you will scribe aberrations linked to QC and support the investigations and any other documents.
• You will evaluate testing data and records of any other operators as well as data verification for documents.
• Contribute to QC strategic transfers, qualification and stability actions.
• Manage when needed, general lab duties, for example: housekeeping, inventory of resources, order resources, etc.
• The ideal candidate will conduct QC sample and resource receipt and preserve inventory.
• When suitable, you will train other analysts within the division in scope of knowledge.
• When necessary, you will author or review SOPs, procedures, FORMs and updates.
• Any other assigned duties.

Key Skills:

• Communication skills both verbally and written.
• An organised individual who is capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.
• Proficient analytical abilities with a high attention to detail.

Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in a Chemistry, Biochemistry or similar discipline.
• At least 1 year of experience in a laboratory-based role.
• Comprehension of GMP needs.
• Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, etc.
