Hobson Prior is seeking a Publication Lead for a contract position. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic planning, development, and delivery of scientific, technical, and medical publications. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with good publication practices and scientific publication quality standards, thereby strengthening our external reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic planning, development, and delivery of scientific, technical, and medical publications.
• Ensure full compliance with good publication practices and scientific publication quality standards.
• Lead the timely delivery of planned publications.
• Identify, select, and manage third-party providers and independent contractors.
• Establish and maintain operational excellence in terms of publication budget and vendor management.

Requirements

• A medical degree, Ph.D., or PharmD is preferred.
• Prior roles within medical affairs or clinical research (e.g. Publications/Scientific Writing, Medical Information, Medical Communications, Medical Education).
• Experience in a publications leader role is beneficial.
• Deep knowledge and experience of good publication practices and guidance.
