Hobson Prior are currently seeking a Project Manager to join a fantastic biotech establishment on a permanent basis located in Haverhill. Our client is focused on distributing life-changing treatments for serious illnesses.
Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.
Key Responsibilities:
- For the role of Project Manager, you will be responsible for collaborating with our contacts of external CRO and academic associates to organise activities, timings, and follow development.
- Collaborate with the Project Leader to instigate gathering of slides for meetings.
- To display updates at meetings with senior members, you will be giving distinct and brief presentations with poise.
- Produce tools and solutions as well as expert tools for the project team.
- You will offer project-level summaries and brief reports of the status of allocated projects to senior management and at meetings for portfolio reviews.
- Serving as a leader, you will be assisting the project team in implementing the best preparation in terms of project management.
- The ideal candidate will be collaborating with the finance team to guarantee that the project expenditure is in agreement with the budget.
- When needed, you will be deputised to serve as the Project Leader.
- Collaborate with project teams to form project plans involving resourcing and budgetary requirements and distribution timelines.
Key Skills:
- Exceptional project progress reporting capabilities.
- Brilliant communication skills both verbally and written with social capabilities and past experience inspiring a variety of shareholders.
- Solid Project Leadership proficiencies, from an operational standpoint.
Requirements:
- Educated to a bachelor's or master's degree in a science or similar field.
- Consciousness of the drug discovery process from project commencement and target validation through to candidate selection.
- Prior experience in a pharmaceutical industry, ideally in drug discovery.
- Would be beneficial to have experience operating in a small biotech.
- Former experience offering project management support to efficacious projects attaining milestones, upholding budgets, generating reports and slide presentations.
- Robust experience of project planning software such as Microsoft Project.
- When needed, you will be capable of training, guiding, and developing project team members.
- Great project management abilities within the business.
