Project Engineer - Process Equipment

Hobson Prior is actively seeking a Project Engineer for Process Equipment for a 6-month contract position, with significant responsibilities in the biotechnology sector, focusing on the construction of a new production facility for highly potent antibody-drug conjugates. This pivotal role is based in Pfaffenhoffen, offering an excellent opportunity for candidates with specialised experience in biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee project planning for process equipment in bioconjugation, focusing on the production of antibody-drug conjugates and fill & finish operations.
• Create and implement concepts and specifications (User Requirement Specifications - URS) for new systems.
• Collaborate with external planning firms during feasibility and concept study phases, focusing on process equipment and layout.
• Handle technical planning and design of various process equipment, ensuring compliance with GMP standards and EHS regulations.
• Coordinate interfaces between multiple sectors, including electrical, construction, and logistics.
• Ensure all processes and documentation comply with regulatory standards.
• Potential continuation into further service phases like Basic Design and Commissioning/Qualification.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in project engineering, particularly in biotechnology or pharmaceutical sectors.
• Expertise in handling projects related to antibody-drug conjugates and fill & finish operations.
• Familiarity with GMP regulations and biotechnological regulatory environments.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and fluency in German and English.
