An exciting position has arisen within a pharmaceutical organisation who are currently looking for a Project Director Biostatistics to join them on a permanent basis. Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as 'Project Lead Biostatistician' on Late Stage, HTA and Medical Affairs projects - primarily supporting the company's exciting Oncology compound.
• Offer statistical expertise to the design of the study for the Oncology compound including writing and reviewing study protocols, SAPs and setting project timeframes and budgets in study meetings.
• Manage the communication with external vendors regarding outsourced activities and deliverables including data mining activities, programming and various statistical analyses.
• Contribute to the development of the Biostatistics function by implementing new processes, SOPs and demonstrating the desire to innovate.
• Review and interpret statistical results and be responsible for writing high-quality statistical reports.

Requirements:

• PhD (pref) or MSc in Biostatistics, Mathematics or a related topic.
• 8+ years' experience as a Statistician within the Pharmaceutical, Biotech or CRO industry.
• Experience in Oncology (minimum 1-2 years' experience) in required.
• Experience in a 'Lead Statistician' or operating in a 'CRO oversight' role.
• Experience using SAS or R programming software is required.
• Experience in Medical Affairs or HTA studies is NOT required, but would be beneficial to the role.
