Are you looking to make an impact with your innovation? Hobson Prior is working with a well establish biopharmaceutical company to recruit for a dedicated Procurement Specialist.

This position will be required to focus on managing the supply of raw materials for our manufacturing site, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. You will play a key role in supporting project teams and implementing supply chain processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the supply of raw materials by working closely with the planning team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and resolve any quality issues.
• Handle purchase orders from start to finish, including creating orders, tracking confirmations, and validating invoices.
• Maintain accurate supplier information and stock levels in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Investigate and resolve supplier quality issues and manage changes effectively.
• Monitor performance using key indicators and ensure compliance with procurement processes.
• Promote safety and environmental sustainability in all activities.
• Coach and support new team members.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Experience in procurement or purchasing, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Ability to manage projects across different teams.
• Familiarity with SAP, especially procurement modules.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes.
• Proficiency in French and English.
• Excellent negotiation and procurement skills.
• Competence in using reporting and office tools.
• Problem-solving mindset with effective communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
