Hobson Prior is seeking a Procurement Manager to join a diagnostics-focused organization on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a key part in managing procurement processes, supplier relationships, and identifying innovative solutions to enhance customer experiences. This position requires a proactive individual with strong negotiation skills and a commitment to driving positive change.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sourcing processes to ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor their performance.
• Identify new products, services, and innovative approaches to improve customer satisfaction.
• Draft and finalize robust contracts, including service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Conduct detailed spend and market analysis, including forecasting cost variations and market trends.
• Mitigate commercial and contractual risks effectively.
• Ensure compliance with global and local procurement practices.
• Review and optimize internal and external processes for efficiency.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• A university degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• MCIPS qualification or active progress toward it is advantageous.
• Proficiency in English is essential; additional language skills are a plus.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
• Financial and commercial awareness with the ability to analyze and forecast effectively.
• A proactive, curious mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Ability to coach others and lead change initiatives successfully.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, performance-driven environment.
