Hobson Prior are currently looking for a Procurement Manager to join a brilliant biotech organisation on a contract basis located in Burgess Hill. Our client is focused on providing lifechanging remedies for various illnesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will guide the coursing of high-quality services and products in cooperation with business shareholders.
• Offer tactical consultancy through leveraging market expertise, procurement knowledge and brilliant shareholder management abilities.
• Assist with completing procurement performance KPIs, which involves savings and profit, demand management and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Grow methodical and critical third-party relationships through a solid SRM program, utilising supplier segmentation, market acumens, novelty and data.
• You will adopt the international and local procurement policies and comprehension of the wider regulatory framework the company's works within.
• Form solid local, regional and international network to guarantee maximum operational efficiencies, best practice sharing and individual development.
• Assist management in the development of the MLS procurement business offer and wider procurement function.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with procurement in indirect and direct categories.
• Capable of distributing sustainable procurement and social value.
• Deliberation and influencing abilities.
• Comprehension of category management principles and extensive experience of sourcing processes (RFI's, RFP's) recognising cost drivers and all factors required to guarantee a solid commercial assessment.
• Educated to a degree level in a procurement and supply chain management field would be ideal.
• An MCIPS would be beneficial.
• Comprehension of financial review and astute at recognising possible commercial risks.
