Hobson Prior are currently looking for a Principal Statistical Programmer to join an exciting FSP (Functional Service Provider) program for a mid-size Biotech CRO on a permanent basis located anywhere in Europe as the role is remote-based. Our client is focused on backing their clients in creating therapeutics for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will be responsible for acting as the 'Lead Statistical Programmer' dedicated to one or more of the Biotech's Oncology studies.
• Oversee the outsourced Statistical Programming activities - operating as the primary point of contact to the CRO/vendor and reviewing all timeframes, budgets and deliverables (TLFs, SDTM, ADaM, etc.) associated with the outsourced studies.
• Provide input into the development and maintenance of SOPs, guidelines and procedures within the Statistical Programming team - this is including researching and developing new techniques, tools, macros and softwares to improve the efficiency of data management and statistical analyses within the company's drug development programs.
• Dedicating your time to the FSP for approximately 2 years. During these 2 years, you will be receiving the training, guidance and support in order to achieve your next promotion, which is becoming the Associate Director of Statistical Programming.

Requirements:

• A MSc, which is preferable, or a BSc in Biostatistics, Mathematics or a related topic.
• At least 6+ years' experience as a Statistical Programmer within the Pharmaceutical, Biotech or CRO industry.
• Extensive experience as a 'Lead Statistical Programmer'.
• Experience using SAS or R programming software is required.
• Experience in a role responsible for managing external relationships (with study teams, clients or vendors) is desirable.
• Experience supporting an FSP program is desirable, but not required.
