Hobson Prior are currently seeking for a Principal Scientist to join a brilliant pharmaceutical establishment on a permanent basis. Our client is focused on producing novel remedies for many.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will guide functional/cross-functional project teams.
• Write and evaluate regulatory proposals, for example BLA/MAA and reply to queries from health bodies.
• Evaluate and sanction development documents.
• You will assist technology transfer to clinical and commercial manufacturing sites which involves CMO.
• Evolve, optimise and characterise mammalian cell culture process as well as process technology which involves PAT.
• The ideal candidate will conduct reviews and due diligence for in-licensing, out-sourcing or cooperation prospects.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Educated to a PhD degree level in a biochemical/chemical engineering or similar discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to continuously deliver in process development/characterisation and regulatory proposal/approval.
• Capable of influencing scientific and business tactic/decision, conduct due diligence, build/guide functional/cross-functional team, and handle/develop scientists at different levels.
• Familiarity with JMP or any other statistical analysis, handling project connected problems/investigations which involves interacting with experts on an internal and external level, as well as make risk-balances decision based on considering science and business.
• Works well in a team setting.
• Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
