Hobson Prior is seeking a Principal Data Manager for a growing Oncology-focused pharmaceutical company. The role involves overseeing data management activities, collaborating with study teams, and ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee data management activities conducted by external vendors.
• Work with study teams to manage timelines, deliverables, and performance metrics related to data management.
• Validate the transfer of data from external vendors into the clinical database.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to set timelines and achieve data management goals.
• Initiate data management activities such as eCRF design and UAT in collaboration with the clinical study team.
• Develop the Data Management Plan (DMP) with relevant internal stakeholders.
• Work with the vendor Lead Data Manager to ensure databases are designed and created according to standards, ensuring data is accurate, complete, and consistent for analysis.
• Contribute to the development of the Data Management department's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Requirements

• Experience as a Data Manager in a Pharmaceutical environment, and experience leading Data Management.
• Experience overseeing vendors.
• Knowledge of Oncology is beneficial.
• Experience working with submission packages is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with all relevant regulations including Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
• Knowledge of industry practices and standards (such as CDISC, SDTM).
• Fluent in English.
