Hobson Prior is seeking a Principal Biostatistician to join our team. This role involves overseeing statistical activities on projects, including study designs, statistical methodologies, and reporting. You will also work with various teams to contribute to the strategic element of projects and interact with regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee statistical activities on projects, including designing studies, calculating sample sizes, and authoring statistical sections of study protocols.
• Work with the Statistical Operations team leader to manage projects and programs from various clients.
• Provide technical leadership to project teams.
• Contribute to the strategic element of projects as the primary Statistician.
• Review and provide technical input to clinical data management documents.
• Perform statistical analysis and modeling.
• Validate and provide input to Statistical programming output.
• Interact with regulatory authorities when supporting new drug applications.
• Manage project resources within the biometrics group.

Requirements

• A Ph.D. or Masters in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Experience within the industry, preferably within a clinical research setting.
• Proficiency with SAS.
• Familiarity with CDISC (SDTM and ADaM).
• Knowledge and experience across various therapy areas.
• Experience in managing project elements.
• Experience in training and mentoring junior colleagues.
