Hobson Prior are looking for a Principal Biostatistician to join a mid-size European CRO on a permanent basis anywhere within Europe as the role is based remotely. Our client is focused on assisting their clients in advancing therapeutics for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will be responsible for providing statistical support and expertise to studies across multiple TAs, with a primary focus on Phases I, Phase II + III studies.
• Will be the 'lead' in the development of Statistical Analysis Plans and study protocols, as well as participating towards study design discussions and sample size calculations in project meetings.
• Contribute to the review of CRFs, analysis datasets and TFL specifications.
• Responsible for offering 'Statistical Consultancy' to a key Client concerning study design, the conduct of statistical analyses and rendering the statistical results.
• Lead the communication channels with key Clients and project teams relating to project timelines and deliverables.

Requirements:

• A PhD, which is preferred, or a MSc in Biostatistics, Mathematics or an equivalent related topic.
• At least 5+ years of experience as a Statistician within the Pharmaceutical, Biotech or CRO industry.
• Highly experienced in using SAS or R programming software is required.
• Experience in a 'Lead Statistician' role.
• Experience in Rare Diseases or Immunology studies would be a plus but is not a requirement.
