Hobson Prior have partnered with a medium-sized CRO who are recruiting for a Principal Biostatistician to join them remotely anywhere in Europe on a permanent basis.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will provide statistical support and expertise to studies across multiple TAs, with a primary focus on Phases II + III.
• You will 'lead' the development of Statistical Analysis Plans and study protocols, plus contribute towards study design discussions and sample size calculations in project meetings.
• You will contribute to the review of CRFs, analysis datasets and TFL specifications.
• You will offer 'Statistical Consultancy' to a key Client regarding study design, the conduct of statistical analyses and interpreting the statistical results.
• You will lead the communication channels with key Clients and project teams regarding project timelines and deliverables.

Requirements:

• PhD (pref) or MSc in Biostatistics, Mathematics or a related topic
• 4+ years' experience as a Statistician within the Pharmaceutical, Biotech or CRO industry
• Experience using SAS or R programming software is required
• Experience in a 'Lead Statistician' role
• Experience in Oncology studies would be a plus, but is not a required.
