Hobson Prior are currently seeking for a Pricing Strategy Lead to join a fantastic pharmaceutical corporation on a permanent basis located in Slough. Our client is focused on specific therapeutic areas.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • For this position, you will guide area contributions for cost within 10-year plan actions, with broader assistance from regional access leads and solutions team / local PVUs.
  • When suitable, you will supervise clawback / payback schemes and contract, as well as offer contributions into pertinent conversations in countrywide pharma trade societies.
  • Expect forth-coming trends in pricing landscape across the area and offer contributions in forming proactive pricing tactics.
  • To accomplish, sustain and protect net prices as directed by the company's APEX team, you will operate methodically with Regional Access Roles and local Access Leads.
  • Assist regional access leads in producing pricing organisation cases, pilot and secure the company's pricing governance consent for national pricing such as DOA.
  • Evaluate influence of IRP Price fluctuations within the Area and at European level.
  • Concoct pertinent suggestions to secure optimal Gross Prices.
  • Collaborate with the PVUs, APEX OPS and International & Regional Pricing Teams on pricing tactics assisting with optimal Patient Access.
  • Serve as a crucial linking between the company's international and local pricing teams, designing and impacting pricing methods for the area corporate.
  • Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

  • Educated to a degree level.
  • Know-how of payer outlooks and strategies on price-setting of medical/pharmaceutical products which involves market access and HTA analysis procedure.
  • Comprehension of operations and relations within the health care systems of the area, which involves IRP guidelines.
  • Familiarity with evolving and using novel access methods in launching pipeline features such as novel contracting / VBAs.
  • Able to think analytically as well as qualitatively and quantitatively.
  • Commercial insight and involvement in cross functional environments, within market access and across operations.
