Pilot Plant Technician

Hobson Prior are currently looking for a Pilot Plant Technician to join a brilliant CRO on a permanent basis located in Hoddesdon. Our client is focused on delivering R&D resolutions for their international affiliates.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this position, you will be accountable for assisting leadership of plant and process areas.
• When applicable, you will contribute, suggest and alter all SOPs, risk evaluations and training programmes.
• For the Senior Technician position, you will influence technical knowledge to trouble-shoot and solve matters.
• When needed, the ideal candidate will assist with establishing, confirming, preserving, and cleaning all used apparatuses.
• To prepare campaign responsibilities, edit and assess supporting papers and guarantee simple transition into the GMP manufacturing facility, you will collaborate with shareholders such as Quality, Analytical and Facilities as well as some specific associated within the division of Product Development.
• To solve matters escalated on equipment/product quality, you will organise, manage and function Oral solid dose Pilot Plan equipment and assist with problem solving actions.
• To achieve GMP standards, the ideal candidate will implement batch sheet instructions and document their accomplishment.
• If possible and needed to do so, you will be responsible for guaranteeing that the reporting of processes and operations is in position and finalised so that a thorough comprehension of the manufacturing process is documented and allows for any improvements.
• You will be mentoring new colleagues and execute process improvement plans for the Senior Technician role.
• Assist with the scale-up, construction and technical transference of pharmaceutical products.

Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in chemical processing, pharmaceutical science or applicable discipline suitable for a Senior Technician role.
• Prior experience operating within an industrial laboratory or in a pilot plant environment.
• Capable of inputting in multi-disciplinary scientific teams and settings.
• Experience working in a cGMP setting/facility with familiarity and consciousness of their needs.
• Efficient communication abilities, both written and verbally so as to being able to give presentational scientific discoveries to fellow associates.
• Mindfulness of EHS needs.
