Hobson Prior is seeking a Pharmacovigilance and Medical Information Manager to oversee and manage a highly compliant Pharmacovigilance system. This role involves managing a team, monitoring the safety of our medicinal products, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Organize, manage, and maintain a highly compliant Pharmacovigilance system.

Daily management of the Pharmacovigilance / Medical Information Team.

Monitor the safety of our medicinal products and continuously evaluate safety during the post-authorization period.

Oversee Individual Case Safety Reports, Standard Operating Procedures, authoring aggregate reports, and Safety Data Exchange Agreements.

Act as a subject matter expert for Risk Management Plans, Post Authorization Safety Study protocols, Risk Minimisation Strategies, effectiveness of follow-up measures, post-marketing commitment, and e-transmissions to competent authorities.

Requirements

Experience in the pharmaceutical / pharmacovigilance industry, including experience managing a team.

Degree or equivalent in medicine or life sciences, or equivalent experience (e.g., Physician, Pharmacist, Nurse).

In-depth knowledge of national/regional regulatory legislation and guidelines.

Knowledge of the pharmacovigilance regulations in the UK, Europe, and Australia is required; knowledge of other international markets is a plus.

Skilled at managing people, including overseeing and controlling outsourced vendor activities in a compliance/regulated field.
