Hobson Prior are currently looking for a Patent Administrator to join a fantastic pharmaceutical organisation on a contract basis located in Slough. Our client is focused on improving the lives of many.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will discuss with foreign agents on filing patents and any other official patent activities.
• Manage ad hoc formal patent needs.
• The ideal candidate will prepare correspondence such as emails, official letters, etc.
• Arrange with attorneys and administration team to recognise and handle deadlines.
• You will track/update due dates through memotech docketing systems.
• Responsible for patent formalities.
• Handle the preparation of applications for archiving through EPO, UKIPO, PCT using online filing tools.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Qualification in CIPA patent paralegal/administrator, or currently taking the course.
• Familiarity working in a patent administration role.
• Know-how of patent databases such as memotech/Inprotech, first to file/electronic file system.
• Expertise on online filing tools such as EPO OLF, ePCT, UK filings, etc.
• Computer literacy.
• Fluency in the English language.
