Hobson Prior is seeking an Operations Engineer for a role in a pharmaceutical company. The successful candidate will join a team that develops, produces, and distributes diagnostic and therapeutic radioactive pharmaceuticals for cancer treatment globally. The focus is on improving the treatment success and quality of life of cancer patients through the development of targeted radionuclide therapies.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain the technical requirements of the plant to meet operational and legal requirements.
• Ensure smooth operation by taking necessary measures and precautions, involving the technical maintenance teams.
• Analyze technical faults and implement immediate solutions and preventive strategies.
• Plan extensions or modifications to existing systems, including acceptance and qualification.
• Contribute expertise to new construction projects, especially in formulating requirements and design testing.
• Provide necessary technical and GMP-relevant documents.
• Establish and ensure professional documentation of maintenance and repair work.
• Assist customers and authorities with audits and inspections.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Degree in engineering (pharmaceutical, process engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable degree).
• Experience in maintenance management in a GMP environment is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
• Structured and organized way of working.
• Quick comprehension, commitment, and flexibility.
• High communication skills in solution-oriented cooperation with service providers, authorities, and internal departments.
