Hobson Prior are looking for Non/Pre-Clinical Project Lead to join a leading biopharmaceutical organisation focused on developing local gene therapy. Our client is looking for a highly skilled and motivated project lead to join their team on a permanent basis in Amsterdam.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will define a strategic project plan and oversees to the execution within timelines.
• You will be responsible and oversees the execution of nonclinical product development projects.
• You will plays a key role in moving the company's gene therapy product candidates from early to late stage nonclinical development.
• You will coordinate project activities in-house and contracted to external parties. He/she will have a unique opportunity to participate in multidisciplinary projects with colleagues from Amsterdam, London, and New York.

Requirements:

• MSc/HLO degree or equivalent in Lifesciences, Biotechnology or equivalent and 4-8 years' experience in a Biotech company/Translational Research environment or PhD with 2 years' experience in a Biotech Company/Translational Research environment.
• Experience with supervision of technicians and instruction of project members.
• Experience in management of CROs and academic partners.
• Experience with common laboratory techniques, including PCR, ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, and mammalian cell culture.
• Hands on experience in conducting animal experiments.
• Experience in the field of cardiovascular diseases.
• Gene therapy experience and know-how.
• Experience working in a gene therapy company with similar responsibilities is a plus.
• Proficient in English.
