Hobson Prior are currently in search for a Non-Clinical Manager for an exciting position at a growing, privately held biotechnology organisation. You will play a vital role in delivering preclinical studies for the characterisation of the organisation's platforms and pharmacology of this new class of therapeutics in rare disease programmes, advancing our client's therapeutic pipeline.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the delivery of high-quality data and completion of studies are in timeline and within budget.
• You will be accountable for compliance and continuing excellent standards.
• Accountable for the management of the organisation's vivarium and collaboration with facility's team, arranging for technical support as needed.
• To lead the planning and the implementation of preclinical studies in partnership with translational medicine, research, and CMC.
• Co-operate with partners and collaborators to ensure study samples are stored, shared and analysed correctly.
• To be a role model the Company values and leadership activities, high performing and highly engaged teams.
• You will build strong working relationships with enabling functions, including Finance and Facilities.

Key Skills:

• An commercial outlook and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• To be self-motivated with a high level of attention to detail whilst keeping objectives in sight.
• Robust communication & interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

• Previous experience within this Industry, particularly in a regulatory environment is highly desirable.
• At least 10 years' experience within working as a leader for preclinical research activities.
• Strong knowledge of the drug discovery process.
• To have required a Home Office Licence.
• To have previous experience of working with new drug modalities or advanced biological approaches.
