Hobson Prior are working closely with a brilliant CRO who are seeking an experienced Medical Technologist on a permanent basis in Leuven. Our client is focused providing clients with high-quality, customized laboratory services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot instruments routinely.
• Acquire knowledge of federal regulations related to clinical trials.
• Identify pre-analytical factors that affect clinical laboratory testing.
• Identify disease processes and correlate them with clinical laboratory results.
• Conduct laboratory investigations.
• Perform routine lab operations, such as testing, documentation, and validation.
• Verify the validity of all laboratory data reported by the lab

Key Skills:

• A strong command of both written and spoken English, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.
• Dedicated to excellence and professionalism.
• Awareness of responsibility and studious attitude.
• The ability to work accurately, think creatively, and manage stress gracefully.

Requirements:

• Accreditation in Medical Laboratory Technology or a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Laboratory Technology is required.
• Understanding of drugs and medical terminology.
• A good understanding of haematology and chemistry is required
• A previous experience in a haematology field is an advantage for this position.
