Hobson Prior are currently seeking for a Medical Safety Officer to join a fantastic biotech organisation on a contract basis located either in the Netherlands or Belgium. Our client is focused on changing patient results through life-altering science.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this position, you will handle the development and proposal of development safety update reports.
• Guarantee compliance with regulatory needs and proposals of expedited and periodic reports in a timely manner.
• Monitor the pharmacovigilance part of the electronic Trial Master File in cooperation with clinical operations.
• Guarantee adherence to pharmacovigilance operational procedures in allocated projects.
• Work alongside external service providers to process individual case safety reports from clinical trials as well as assure that expedited reporting needs are met.
• Arrange the development of study-specific project plans for allocated clinical studies and supervise their implementation.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in a pharmacy or life science field.
• Demonstrable experience within a similar role, which involves familiarity working within a structured setting as a member of program/compound teams and in a matrix setting overall.
• Familiarity within drug development in a biotech or pharmaceutical organisation.
• Acquaintance engaging with shareholders with various backgrounds.
• Capable of adapting to corporate culture.
