Hobson Prior is seeking a Medical Excellence and Innovation Lead for a rare disease biotech company. This role will focus on supporting medical strategy and planning, facilitating development and execution of medical plans, and driving medical innovation. This is a home-based role with 30% travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and execution of medical strategy and planning across the International Region.
• Collaborate with Global Medical Operations to develop and execute country-specific medical plans and training programs.
• Provide tactical support including goal tracking, coordinating meetings, and managing vendors.
• Report local activities to create operational transparency across the region.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and real-world evidence research.
• Manage the relationship with the designated vendor for Medical Information in Europe and the International Region.
• Coordinate processes necessary for responding to quality-related complaints.
• Lead the transformation of data, digital, and medical excellence initiatives to optimize performance and facilitate strategic decision-making.
• Integrate new technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, to enhance research and personalize customer engagements.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant field, such as business management, health economics, or a life science diploma degree.
• Experience in the pharma or biotech setting with a focus on Medical Affairs.
• Knowledge in rare diseases; knowledge of hereditary angioedema is a plus.
• Proven experience in medical affairs strategic planning, driving innovation strategy, and fostering data-driven decision-making in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
