Hobson Prior is seeking a Materials Coordinator Contractor to join a dynamic team in Pittsburgh, United States. In this role, you will play a key part in managing the movement of materials and supplies to ensure smooth operations within a manufacturing and supply chain environment. This position requires hands-on involvement in warehouse activities and a focus on maintaining accurate records and inventory levels.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and track incoming and outgoing materials based on shipping and receiving schedules.
• Schedule and prioritize shipments to align with planned activities.
• Handle goods receipt, labeling, and storage of incoming items using SAP and manual processes.
• Perform pick, pack, and ship tasks using SAP and hands-on methods.
• Maintain accurate records of material movements, including receipts, transfers, and shipments.
• Monitor inventory levels and address any material issues that could delay orders.
• Assist with inventory counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Provide guidance to Material Handlers.
• Ensure compliance with procedures for material storage and handling.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
• Support other warehouse activities as needed.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• A degree in supply chain or a related field (associate degree required; bachelor's preferred).
• Experience in a warehouse or similar role is highly valued.
• Familiarity with GMP/GxP warehousing operations is desirable.
• Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems and MS Office tools.
• Ability to work in both office and warehouse settings, including occasional lifting and walking.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
