Hobson Prior is seeking a Material Planning Manager for permanent role. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys managing teams and coordinating activities with various partners. You will be responsible for inventory in your area and will also handle the life cycle management of materials. This role requires a high level of responsibility, flexibility, and a conscientious and independent way of working.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the raw material planning team both in terms of content and organization.
• Coordinate activities with local and global partners including production, purchasing, suppliers, third-party logistics providers, quality, and finance.
• Handle any issues that arise and escalate them as necessary.
• Be responsible for inventory in your area and manage the life cycle of materials.
• Develop, improve, and document supply chain processes in the GMP environment, including tools and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Provide operational support to your team when required.

Requirements

• Degree in supply chain management or relevant training with comparable professional experience.
• Experience in material planning and operational purchasing, knowledge of SAP is a plus.
• Experience in team management is desirable.
• Proficient use of MS Office (especially Excel) and good IT skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Fluent in both German and English.
