Hobson Prior is seeking a Manufacturing Science and Technology Senior Technician to join our team in Leiden. This role focuses on supporting the Cell Therapy Manufacturing Sciences and Technology (MSAT) team. You will be working in a Grade D clean room, conducting automated CAR-T manufacturing operations, performing production runs on the Cocoon platform, and engaging in scale-down laboratory experiments and troubleshooting.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities:

• Execute production activities at the central facility, including Cocoon runs, positive fraction generation, process characterization studies, late-stage development, comparability, and scale-down model experiments.
• Ensure robust and efficient laboratory operations, supporting laboratory management.
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement projects.
• Collaborate closely with Process Development, Quality Control, and other departments.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Background in life sciences, biotechnology, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with cell & gene therapy processes, automated bioreactors, GMP manufacturing, and technology transfer.
• Result-driven with a can-do mindset, maintaining quality and compliance.
• Strong interpersonal skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Team player with good communication skills.
