Manager QA

Hobson Prior is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist for a contract role based in Basel. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality assurance and GMP compliance for the manufacture and analysis of Investigational Medicinal Product (IMP) batches, with a particular focus on parenteral drug products.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Acting as a delegate of the Swiss Responsible Person (RP) for IMPs.
• Maintaining quality assurance responsibility for GMP compliance of manufacture and analysis of IMP batches, particularly parenteral drug product batches.
• Reviewing and approving GMP procedures, records, and reports such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), master batch records, discrepancy and change records, and validation reports.
• Performing self-inspections in GMP plants and laboratories.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• A degree in Pharmacy, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Life Science, or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience in activities around parenteral manufacturing and quality control.
• Proven experience in a GMP regulated environment.
• Fluency in German and English (min. B1 level).
