Hobson Prior is seeking a Manager in Analytical Development-Quality Control for a contract position in Allschwil, Switzerland. In this role, you will focus on ensuring that drug substances and products meet quality standards during development and comply with regulatory guidelines. You will lead a small team and manage various projects, ensuring smooth laboratory operations and effective communication with external partners.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a small team and manage multiple projects.
• Organize lab activities and develop analytical methods.
• Represent the team in project meetings.
• Conduct and document tests and studies according to guidelines.
• Maintain and operate lab equipment properly.
• Train team members and ensure a clean workspace.
• Design and execute experiments independently.
• Communicate results and manage outsourcing of tasks.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Degree in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacy, biology, or chemical engineering.
• Strong background in analytical chemistry and GMP knowledge.
• Effective management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Proficient in English with a focus on continuous learning.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work in diverse teams.
