Hobson Prior is seeking a Local Pharmacovigilance Specialist to join a remote opportunity based in Germany. In this role, you will focus on ensuring the safety of medicines by managing local pharmacovigilance activities and collaborating with global teams. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and oversee the local medicine safety system.
• Conduct local literature reviews for safety information.
• Manage local safety reports and monitor adverse events.
• Screen for pharmacovigilance updates and maintain compliance.
• Update and manage local safety documentation.
• Adapt and submit safety reports and risk management plans.
• Detect and assess potential safety signals.
• Implement measures to minimize risks associated with medicines.
• Review materials related to post-authorization safety.
• Participate in audits and inspections related to safety processes.
• Attend project meetings and provide regular updates on safety activities.
• Train employees, service providers, and partners on safety practices.
• Collaborate closely with global and local teams to align safety processes.
• Develop and maintain procedures for local safety tasks.
• Act as a backup for the Deputy and share relevant updates.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Fluent in both English and German.
• Familiarity with pharmacovigilance processes and regulations.
• Experience using safety databases (e.g., Argus Safety).
• Knowledge of case management and pre-authorization safety activities.
