Hobson Prior are currently looking for a Legal Operations and Privacy Manager to join a brilliant CRO on a permanent basis with the flexibility to work from home visiting the site 1-2 times a month. Our client is focused on offering solutions for drug development organisations through their expertise in various therapeutic areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To guarantee approval of regulatory needs are accomplished, for the role of Legal Operations and Privacy Manager, you will be accountable for developing and handling data protection supplier analysis process.
  • Plan study specific data security needs for all the studies that are contracted.
  • Handle data privacy within our quality management system by serving as the mentor for contracts divisions.
  • To warrant compliance with company obligations, the ideal candidate will handle the upkeep of company books.
  • Offer mentoring on contracts department procedures to internal shareholders.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for handing reports of contracts department crucial performance pointers and suitable dashboards in a timely manner.
  • Document compliance status within the needed deadlines.
  • Accomplish a best-in-class CRM by finalising needed data areas in suitable deadlines while supervising general usage across contracts departments.
  • Recognise and offer contributions to the consistent development of the CRM system.
  • You will be accountable for managing the progress and improvement of contract department processes and frameworks while dynamically gaining shareholder contributions for constant enhancement.
  • Guide the execution of designated IT solutions for the contracts division.
  • To guarantee the company obligations are fulfilled, you will handle legal compliance needs which involve insurance and archiving needs.
  • In concurrence with the data protection officer, you will be accountable for the execution and preservation of data protection compliance.

  • Exceptional organisational and time management capabilities with the capacity to deliver high standard performance whilst under pressure.
  • Brilliant social and communication abilities both written and verbal in the English language.

Requirements:

  • Educated to a degree level in a humanities, sciences, or social sciences discipline; or possess professional training/qualification in the form of either a law a-level, a law degree, legal practice course or similar.
  • Legal or business operating experience.
  • Familiarity with the Pharmaceutical, Medical, or CRO industry.
  • Comprehension of GDPR and global data privacy compliance.
  • Computer literate in Word and Excel.
  • Solid know-how of data protection legislation, practice and processes.
  • Project management experience.
