Lead Scientist - Upstream Process Development

Key Responsibilities:

• For this position, you will guide the development and execution of procedures from bench through scale-up, and to pilot scale, which involves technology transfer via clinical manufacturing.
• The ideal candidate will serve as the technical project lead for the development of high performing upstream procedures with emphasis on transferability to cGMP manufacturing.
• Work alongside internal personnel to produce project and cost submissions, timelines, and work plans by implementing scientific expertise and business knowledge.
• Offer technical guidance in developing, optimising, scaling-up and validating all steps in the upstream process development group.

Requirements:

• Educated to a master's degree level with at least 12+ years of work experience or educated to a PhD degree level with at least 9+ years of work experience.
• Comprehension of cGMP and biopharmaceutical product development lifecycle as well as regulatory archiving such as BLA, MAA, IND, etc.
