Hobson Prior are currently seeking for a Lead Scientist - Upstream Process Development to join a fantastic CDMO on a permanent basis and is located in Seoul. For more information, please get in touch now!

Key Responsibilities:
- For this position, you will guide the development and execution of procedures from bench through scale-up, and to pilot scale, which involves technology transfer via clinical manufacturing.
- The ideal candidate will serve as the technical project lead for the development of high performing upstream procedures with emphasis on transferability to cGMP manufacturing.
- Work alongside internal personnel to produce project and cost submissions, timelines, and work plans by implementing scientific expertise and business knowledge.
- Offer technical guidance in developing, optimising, scaling-up and validating all steps in the upstream process development group.
Requirements:
- Educated to a master's degree level with at least 12+ years of work experience or educated to a PhD degree level with at least 9+ years of work experience.
- Comprehension of cGMP and biopharmaceutical product development lifecycle as well as regulatory archiving such as BLA, MAA, IND, etc.
