Hobson Prior are currently looking for a Laboratory Manager to join a brilliant pharmaceutical organisation on a permanent basis located in Waterford. Our client is focused on developing, producing and providing a variety of oral dose treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will be accountable for the distribution of GMP analytical performance to assist the business plan and GMP lab transfers as well as GMP commercial testing.
• Guide teams for selection of products, transfer, validation, and commercial testing to distribute the site business plan.
• Responsible for site stability programs and site data evaluation.
• Manage site analytical instrumentation, analytical compliance and analytical training.
• Operate on analytical transfer, testing, stability, data evaluation, training, compliance and instrumentation.
• You will maximise site lab capacity as well as execute a career path and development plans for the function.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in a scientific field, though a post-graduate qualification would be beneficial.
• Demonstrable experience working in a pharmaceutical analytical lab.
• Acquaintance with working on cross-functional projects with know-how of GMP guides and GLP expertise with prior involvement with regulatory and customer inspections.
• Compliance abilities with capacity and change management capabilities.
• A high attention to detail.
• Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Able to think analytically and work both independently and in a team either guiding them or working cross-functionally when needed.
• Capable of resolving issued with the ability to manage own time efficiently.
• Customer oriented.
• Able to form positive relations and collaborations with others.
