Hobson Prior is seeking a Laboratory Engineer to join a dynamic team in a quality control function. In this role, you will perform chemical and physical analyses of various materials and products, supporting production and quality processes. Responsibilities:

• Conduct chemical and physical tests on finished products, semi-finished products, raw materials, and packaging.
• Collaborate closely with production teams and support functions like quality assessment and process engineering.
• Manage a high volume of samples from diverse manufacturing and purchasing processes.
• Use modern techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, wet chemistry, and measurement methods for analysis.
• Work within a team of approximately 15 people and contribute to cross-functional projects.
• Adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a structured approach to tasks.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on creating efficient and robust processes.
• Support the digitalization and automation journey within the laboratory environment.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• A university degree in natural sciences, analytical chemistry, chemical engineering, or equivalent education.
• Practical experience in pharmaceutical analysis or similar analytical work.
• Proficiency in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Lean methodologies is advantageous.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to changing conditions.
