Hobson Prior are looking for a Lab Equipment Qualification Specialist to join a fantastic healthcare organisation on a contract basis, located in Sehaffhausen, Switzerland. Key Responsibilities:

  • In this position, you will be responsible for executing the qualification of laboratory equipment in a timely manner in compliance with authority requirements.
  • Cooperation with equipment manufacturers as part of the equipment qualification process.
  • Support in troubleshooting on a case-by-case basis, as well as collaboration with various laboratories.
  • Prepare and review qualification documents (e.g. User Requirement Specifications (URS), design specifications, installation specifications, functional specifications, and performance standards as required).
  • Creating and reviewing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions as part of the responsibility.
  • Follow up on deviations (quality investigations), implement preventive and corrective actions (CAPA's), and take responsibility for implementation of changes (change control's) in the company.

Requirements:

  • Graduated from a scientific or technological program and obtained several years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical, biotechnological, or information technology (IT) sectors.
  • GMP document preparation and control experience.
  • CSV experience or qualification of analytical laboratory equipment.
  • Analytical laboratory software administration experience (e.g. Empower, Chromeleon, Softmax Pro, Tiamo) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Speaks and writes German and English fluently.
