Hobson Prior currently have an opportunity for an IT Quality Systems Manager to join a leading pharmaceutical organisation on a permanent basis. Our client is focused on improving people's health through new medicines in Oncology.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leads the relationship with these functions and act as business partner.
  • Works closely with the Business Process Owners to help optimizing information workflows and brings additional value to the business community supported at the worldwide level.
  • Contributes to the permanent update of the 5 years IT TechOps roadmap based on stakes defined by process owners, existing IS landscape and opportunities related to innovation.
  • Work closely with the business from the project roadmap to the project launch. Play an active role in the RFP process in collaboration with procurement and legal department.
  • Analyses project proposals & contracts to determine time frame, funding limitations and appropriate process for accomplishing projects.
  • Identifies and schedules project deliverables, milestones and required activities and tasks. Coordinate projects portfolio for his/her own domain.
  • Manage Stereo meetings and provide on regular basis or on-demand a clear project status.
  • Reviews/approves work plan of external service provider or consultancy contracted to execute project.
  • Implements project communication plan and change management with the person in charge of this area.
  • Contribute and/or is accountable for project budget management. Manage all related orders and good receipts and track his budget on regular basis to adjust Forecast vs budget.
  • Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required.
  • Manage with support contractors and his team the on-going support and enhancements.
  • Ensure than Change Advisory Board are organized in his/her domain
  • Ensure that communication and KPI are shared with the business in a transparent way.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business information systems , computer science or related field, or equivalent related IT experience.
  • Project Management training and certification desirable, but not required.
  • Knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.
  • Ten or more years of progressively responsible IT experience, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading diverse teams and managing several external partners.
  • Effective influencing and negotiating skills in an environment where this role may not directly control resources.
