Hobson Prior are currently seeking for an IT/OT Support Engineer (Automation Biased) to join a brilliant biotech organisation on a permanent basis. Our client is focused on novelty and specialised care.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will accomplish quality-linked actions such as alterations, unplanned events, CAPA, etc., rendering to quality-management systems.
• Produce and/or arrange handover pack, which involves manuals, coaching, SOPs, automation PPMs, etc.
• The ideal candidate will investigate and execute improvements to manufacturing equipment.
• Offer automation and digital knowledge to internal customers such as maintenance, production, quality, etc., to guarantee the availability, performance and compliance needs of manufacturing equipment is met.
• Asist with capital projects by offering automation and digital know-how to the project manager during the project.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Former involvement within diagnostics and maintenance of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems, if possible, within a cGMP regulated setting.
• Acquaintance with Siemens PLC/HMI/SCADA such as Step 7, WinCC Flex 20008, TIA Portal, WinCC/PCS7, etc.
• Capable of authoring and evaluating technical documents, such as specifications, technical reports, risk assessments, etc.
• Familiarity with additional PLC/HMI/SCADA manufacturers are desirable.
• Consciousness of regulatory expectations around computerised systems, such as GAMP5, FDA 21 CFR11, EU ANNEX 11, etc., would be ideal.
