Hobson Prior is seeking an Interim Supply Chain and Warehouse Manager. This role involves managing supply chain and logistic services, overseeing supplier and vendor performance, and ensuring efficient operation of warehouse systems. The successful candidate will also be responsible for inventory management and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee supply chain and logistic service providers.
  • Collaborate with teams to manage supplier and vendor performance.
  • Develop and implement warehouse systems.
  • Manage scheduling and planning tools to support material movements.
  • Ensure adherence to chain of custody procedures.
  • Participate and lead external supply chain initiatives.
  • Manage on-site inventory and maintain the inventory between the offsite warehouse facilities and the onsite manufacturing centre.
  • Introduce and maintain GMP compliant warehouse management systems.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with collaborators, clinical site logistics and other service providers.
  • Ensure the supply chain and inventory management areas comply with GMP and other regulatory standards.
  • Manage relationships with key service providers and collaborator supply chain groups.
  • Manage the supply chain/inventory management team including recruitment, selection, motivation, training & development, appraisals and manage staff performance.

Requirements

  • Previous management experience in a GMP biopharmaceutical warehouse/inventory management environment.
  • Experience in managing supply chain/logistic operations.
  • Experience in operating multiple supply chain/logistic systems supporting a GMP warehouse / supply chain operation.
  • Proven experience of writing and reviewing GMP documents.
  • Experience in interacting with the regulatory authorities and clients.
  • Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise work.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Degree qualification is desirable.
